Will my dog ruin my hardwood floor?

Some woods, such as walnut, are naturally softer than others and more prone to scratches and dents. Over time, it is likely that dogs will cause damage to the floor. We use the highest quality finish to reduce scratches whenever possible. The best way to reduce damage from dogs is to keep their nails trimmed short, keep your floor clean and free of debris, and keep up with regular maintenance on your floor. If you want an option more resistant to damage from dogs, you may want to consider LVP flooring. Visit our LVP page for more information.
